Miller Ride for the Arts

The Miller Rider for the Arts is scheduled to start on Sunday June 6th, 2010 to benefit the United Performing Arts Fund . The ride is scheduled to start at 7:30 am until 1pm. For more information visit www.millerliteride.com

 

Police Station Tours

The St. Francis Police Department conducts many tours through out the year so that the public has a better understanding of the inner workings of the police department.

 

 

Special Presentations

Members of the St Francis Department meet with various civic and school groups and present information on specific crime prevention and law enforcement related material as requested.

 

Picture in a Police Car

Citizens receive a free picture of themselves in an official police car at St Francis days, a community event held over Labor Day weekend.

 

Sports Card Giveaway

Safety cards sets that are sponsored by the Milwaukee Brewers Baseball Team and the Green Bay Packer Football Team that feature safety tips are distributed to children during each team's season by uniformed officers.

 

 

National Night Out

The "27th Annual National Night Out" (NNO), a unique crime/drug prevention event sponsored by the National Association of Town Watch (NATW), has been scheduled for August 4, 2010 . St. Francis won 1st place in the National competition for cities of 15,000 residents and under.  This is a great honor for our city.

 

August 4th

 

The St. Francis Police Department Announces National Night Out on August 4th at Milton Breenar Park. The event starts at 6:30 with a Parade of Officers. Address is 4224 S. Kirkwood St. Francis, WI.

 

Some of the events this year are:

  • Parade 6:30 pm
  • Ceremonies 7:00 pm
  • Live Music all night
  • Exhibits
  • Crime Prevention Displays
  • Displays by the FBI, Military, and other law officials
  • Air 1 Helicopter lands at aprox 7:45 pm

Parades and Runs

Uniformed officers assist and lead numerous parades in and through the City of St. Francis. Whether it's a high school home coming parade, or the Miller Brewing Ride for the Arts (Over 15,000 bicyclists participate) safety is utmost at each assignment by uniformed officers.
